To add IDX and school ratings to a WordPress website, you should download and install Realtyna’s Organic MLS Integration plugin and the School Info Add-On. Then you should add the RETS username and password from your local MLS and an API key from GreatSchools.

The Schools Info Add-on is Realtyna’s plugin for integrating school ratings from GreatSchools into MLS listings. The API uses the listing address or geolocation to identify the proper school district and nearby schools and return their ratings based on state and national data.

- Log into your WordPress dashboard
- Install Organic MLS and School Info Add-on
- Acquire RETS login from your local MLS
- Acquire API key from GreatSchools
- Establish RETS data connection
- Map fields from the RETS server
- Set queries for fetch listings
- Run import
- Automate future imports

Log into your WordPress dashboard
Log in as a WordPress admin and navigate to WPL
Install Organic MLS and School Info Add-on
Download Organic MLS package and School info add-on package from your billing account. In “Purchased Add-on” section, Click “Select your file” and select the package you want to install.

Acquire RETS login from your local MLS
Speak to your MLS administrator to find out how to acquire a RETS login.

Acquire API key from GreatSchools
Register for the GreatSchools API at https://www.greatschools.org/api/request-api-key.
Establish RETS data connection
Insert the RETS username and password into the plugin to connect to your MLS database and establish a RETS feed.
Map fields from the RETS server
Use Realtyna’s mapping wizard to select data fields from the RETS servers and assign them to locations on your website.
Set queries for fetch listings
Set queries for the listing and property types you wish to fetch from the RETS server.
Run import
Download all available listings to your site.
Automate future imports
Add cron jobs to launch future import processes automatically.

Add GreatSchools API key
Navigate to WPL > Settings > Global > School Info Add-on and insert your GreatSchools API key.
Configure listing and school rating layout
Your IDX and school ratings feeds are now active. You may configure your listing layouts and lead capture settings.
