How to Add IDX and School Ratings Data to a WordPress Website

Please note that the Real Estate Transaction Standard (RETS) has been deprecated and is no longer recommended for use in MLS/IDX integration. Consumers are advised to use the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) Web API, which provides a more efficient and secure way of accessing MLS/IDX data. We strongly encourage all users to transition to RESO Web API for a better and more reliable experience. Learn more

To add IDX and school ratings to a WordPress website, you should download and install Realtyna’s Organic MLS Integration plugin and the School Info Add-On. Then you should add the RETS username and password from your local MLS and an API key from GreatSchools.

Modern homebuyers are seeking more and more information about the listings they see for sale. In most cases, information on local schools is among their priorities. With Realtyna’s Organic MLS Integration and School Info Add-on you can integrate school ratings data into your IDX listings for a comprehensive online property search.

What Is Organic MLS Integration?

Organic MLS Integration is Realtyna’s IDX plugin for WordPress. The software allows users to connect to their MLS and import listings to their website via RETS feed.

Because it promotes search engine indexing, Organic MLS Integration can boost the SEO content on a user’s site and improve page rankings.

What Is the Schools Info Add-on?

The Schools Info Add-on is Realtyna’s plugin for integrating school ratings from GreatSchools into MLS listings. The API uses the listing address or geolocation to identify the proper school district and nearby schools and return their ratings based on state and national data.
