The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) is a 100-year-old organization hosting one of Canada’s largest databases of real estate listings.

Now REBGV members can add IDX to their WordPress website using Realtyna’s Organic RETS Integration.

What Is Organic RETS Integration?

Organic RETS Integration is Realtyna’s IDX plugin for WordPress. It allows you to connect to REBGV and host listings on your website via RETS feed.

What Is RETS?

RETS is a powerful technology framework used in premium IDX systems. It’s considered the best for SEO and data control.

Log Into WordPress

Log Into your WordPress admin dashboard and navigate to ‘Plugins’.

Install Realtyna Plugin

From the ‘Plugins’ menu, click ‘Add New’ then ‘Upload’. Then browse your computer for the Organic RETS Integration zip file.

Note: The plugin is made available for download upon purchase.

Acquire REBGV RETS login

Speak to your MLS administrator to find out how to acquire a RETS username and password.

Establish Data Connection

Navigate to ‘MLS Add-on’ in from your dashboard. Then, insert the RETS username and password into the plugin to connect to the REBGV servers and establish a RETS feed.

Map Fields

Use Realtyna’s mapping wizard to select data fields from the REBGV servers and assign them to locations on your website.

Set Queries

Define queries for the listing and property types you wish to fetch from the REBGV database.

Import Listings

Run a full import to download all available listings to your site.

Automate Future Downloads

Add cron-jobs to automate future downloads and update your site as listings change.

Note: If you don’t have RETS experience or you don’t wish to perform steps 4-7, Realtyna technicians will complete them for you at no extra charge.

Configure Front-End

Your REBGV IDX is now active. You may configure your front-end using Realtyna’s search and lead capture options.
