FIABCI and GDX Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Advance Global Real Estate Connectivity
At the FIABCI World Congress in Vienna, FIABCI, The International Real Estate Federation – and GDX – Global Data Exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that marks an important step toward a more connected, standards-based, transparent, and collaborative international real estate ecosystem.
The MOU was signed by Antonio Campagnoli, World President of FIABCI; Narek Arakelyan, Secretary-General of FIABCI; and Moath Maqbol, Vice President of GDX, reflecting a shared commitment to exploring new opportunities for international cooperation, education, innovation, and industry engagement.

This collaboration brings together two organizations that share a common vision for the future of global real estate.
For more than 75 years, FIABCI has connected real estate professionals, associations, developers, investors, and industry leaders across more than 80 countries. GDX, powered by RESO’s global protocols, was established to help address one of the industry’s most pressing challenges: enabling trusted, standards-based connectivity between real estate markets while preserving local governance, ownership, and control.
Through this MOU, both organizations intend to explore strategic initiatives focused on international real estate connectivity, the adoption of standards, education, certification frameworks, industry awareness, and cross-border collaboration.

The signing ceremony brought together leaders from both organizations, including Antonio Campagnoli (World President, FIABCI), Narek Arakelyan (Secretary-General, FIABCI), Moath Maqbol (Vice President, GDX), John DiMichele (CEO, Toronto Regional Real Estate Board , and one of GDX’s founding partners), Natalie Ghazaley (Head of Partnerships, GDX), Alex Escudero (GDX Ambassador for Latin America), Lily Chang (President-Elect, FIABCI), Elizabeth Kinsella (Universal Consulting Opportunities Relationship and Research Manager), and representatives from the wider FIABCI and GDX communities.

More than a formal agreement, this MOU establishes a framework for collaboration between two organizations committed to advancing the future of global real estate. Together, FIABCI and GDX seek to promote greater interoperability, transparency, and cross-border engagement throughout the industry.
