California Real Estate Technology Services, also known as CARETS, is a comprehensive real estate database. Although originally it was formed by seven Southern California MLSs only, nowadays it connects more than 50 real estate associations. CARETS is a non-profit corporation based on mutual benefit approach to its activities. The corporation operates to service its member MLSs in the most cost-effective ways possible. CARETS staff is dedicated to providing high quality services. Currently, its main interest is to explore the new ways to expand their service to their members in terms of increasing the amount of their MLS members. For CARETS overlapping markets in the real estate industry represent one of the major problems that should be dealt with.
