The Daytona Beach Area Association of REALTORS (DBAAR) is one of nearly 1,600 real estate boards that make up the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), the world’s largest trade association. The Daytona Beach Area Realtors Association (DBAAR) is a private trade association established in 1922 with over 2,100 REALTOR and affiliates in the Daytona Beach area.
The organization is governed by a Board of Directors made up entirely of volunteers who its members choose.
The association’s three key goals are to serve the interests of its members, the public, and the environment. The organization helps its members to aim for the highest level of excellence in the sector by offering a range of continuing education opportunities.
The Multiple Listing Service (MLS) of the association is highly computerized, allowing homes to be easily advertised to REALTORS in Volusia County and beyond.
In addition, the organization also helps society by constantly advocating for private property rights. Via group members’ campaign activity and state and congressional lobbying boards, homeowners’ interests are protected on all levels from all discriminatory laws and taxation.
