How to get a Real Estate License in North Dakota

In North Dakota, you must be 18 years old, submit to a background check, and provide evidence of errors and omissions insurance. You also are required to complete a 45-hour pre-licensing course and pass the North Dakota real estate exam.

Exam

The exam consists of 140 questions that must be completed within 210 minutes. The first exam section includes questions on the following national real estate subjects:

  • Real Property Ownership/Interest
  • Finance
  • Real Property
  • Marketing Regulations
  • Property Management
  • Real Estate Calculations
The second exam section includes questions on the following state real estate subjects:
