    How to get a Real Estate License in New Hampshire

    In New Hampshire you must be 18 years old; you must submit to a background check; and you must complete 40 hours of approved pre-licensing study.

    Exam

    The exam consists of 140 questions that must be completed within 210 minutes. The first exam section will test your knowledge of the following national real estate topics:
    • Agency Relationships and Contracts
    • Real Property Ownership/Interest
    • Finance
    • Real Property
    • Marketing Regulations
    • Property Management
    The second exam section will test your knowledge of the following state real estate topics:
    • Real estate commission
    • Licensure
    • Regulation of licensee conduct
    • Regulation of agency conduct
    • Principles and practice
