9 Steps to Add an MRIS RETS Feed to a WordPress Website

Please note that the Real Estate Transaction Standard (RETS) has been deprecated and is no longer recommended for use in MLS/IDX integration. Now MRIS members can add an MRIS RETS feed to their WordPress website using Realtyna’s Organic RETS Integration.

What Is Organic RETS Integration?

Organic RETS Integration, is Realtyna’s RETS software for WordPress. The software allows MRIS members to connect to the MRIS database and integrate listings into their website via RETS feed.

This advanced IDX system increases the SEO content on a user’s site and provides greater data flexibility than a traditional IDX.

Log Into WordPress Dashboard

Log into your WordPress dashboard and navigate to the ‘Plugins’ menu.

MRIS RETSInstall Realtyna Software

Realtyna offers software to integrate an MLS with WordPress. As soon as you complete your purchase, the software will be made available for download.

Installation is done in two steps.

First, log into your WordPress dashboard, navigate to ‘Plugins, click ‘Add New,’ then browse your computer for the main Realtyna plugin zip file (WPL).

The integration add-on then can be added by navigating to ‘WPL’ > ‘Purchased Add-ons.’

MRIS RETSConnect To MRIS RETS Server

Add the RETS username and password to the add-on to connect to the MRIS RETS server and establish a RETS feed.

Your MRIS RETS feed is now connected and active. You may configure your front-end search and lead capture options to maximize the return from your website.
